New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) It was a cloudy morning in the capital Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 28.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
“The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 40 degrees Celsius mark,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 67 percent.
Sunday’s maximum temperature was 38.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below average for this time of the year, while the minimum settled a notch below average at 26.6 degrees Celsius.
