New Delhi, June 5 (IANS) A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable was in critical condition Wednesday after being shot accidentally during a mock drill at a Delhi Metro station, officials said.
The incident took place at the Rohini West station in north Delhi.
Sub-Inspector Sita Ram opened fire from his service gun without knowing that it was loaded. The bullet hit constable Ritesh Tripathi and pierced through his ribs, the official added.
Tripathi was admitted to a hospital in critical condition.
