BJP parliamentary board rejects Advani’s resignation

New Delhi, June 10 (IANS) The BJP’s parliamentary board has rejected the resignation of party veteran L.K. Advani, BJP chief Rajnath Singh said Monday.

“The parliamentary board has rejected the resignation of Advani,” Singh told reporters after a meeting of the board at his official residence here.

Advani, who was miffed over Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi being made the party’s 2014 poll campaign chief the day earlier, resigned from all party posts Monday.
