Gurgaon: An auto driver was arrested for molesting an advocate here after the victim and her brother traced him, police said today.
Tony, 40, was arrested for molesting the 27-year-old lawyer in HUDA city centre area after the victim recognised his auto on the street.
She said that after she boarded the auto around 6.30 p.m. yesterday, the driver first passed lewd comments and when she complained, he tried to molest her.
After the incident, the victim and her brother searched for the auto and found it near Jharsa chowk in Sector 45 yesterday evening. “We informed police and the driver was arrested,” she added.
The accused was produced before a court today and was sent to judicial custody, a police officer said.
