New Delhi, June 3 (IANS) Former law and justice minister Ashwani Kumar Monday appeared before the Supreme Court as a counsel in a civil case.
He sat through the entire proceedings of the day and got relief from an apex court bench of Justice Gyan Sudha Misra and Justice Madan B. Lokur for his client in the case involving liquidation proceedings.
Ashwani Kumar was quit last month after the Supreme Court took exception to his vetting a Central Bureau of Investigation status report on its investigations into the allocation of coal blocks.
