Baghdad, June 18 (IANS) At least 15 people were killed and 30 others wounded in a suicide bomb attack at a Shia mosque in the Iraqi capital Tuesday, an interior ministry official said.
The attack occurred around midday when a suicide bomber blew up his explosives-laden vest among worshippers at the mosque in al-Qahira district, Xinhua reported.
The toll of the attacks could rise, officials said.
Ambulances, civilian and police vehicles evacuated the injured to various hospitals across the city.
