New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) It was a warm, sunny morning in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 25.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of year. The weather office has forecast a clear day ahead.
“A clear day lies ahead for the capital. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around the 42 degrees Celsius mark,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 47 percent.
On Wednesday, the maximum temperature settled a notch above average at 40.5 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 24.8 degrees Celsius.
