New Delhi, May 1 (IANS) Tremors were felt in Delhi, Srinagar and other parts of north India following a 5.7-magnitude quake Wednesday afternoon, an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
“The quake happened at 12.27 p.m. and measured 5.7 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was somewhere around the Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh border,” said R.S.Dattatreya, director, Department of Seismology, IMD.
