Gurgaon: A man was arrested here for killing his two-and-half-year-old daughter after a fight with his wife, police said.
Sanjay Kumar, 25, a labourer, smashed the head of his minor daughter on the ground in Palam Vihar area yesterday night, police said.
“The accused suspected his wife of having an illicit relationship and often fought with her over the issue. Yesterday night, he again had an argument with his wife and in a fit of rage threw his daughter on the ground,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Surender Pal Singh told.
The victim succumbed to her injuries in a Delhi hospital today, police said.
Sanjay Kumar, who hails from Bihar, was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by his wife, police said.
