Thiruvananthapuram, May 1 (IANS) The youth wing of the CPI-M in Kerala has launched a state-wide campaign to educate people not to fall into anti-secular and communal traps.
The campaign was launched by the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) Tuesday. It will end May 5.
“Social organisations are trying to create groups. We are worried the communal polarisation that’s taking place in the state. Our campaign is against that,” DYFI’s state secretary T.V. Rajesh told IANS.
“Every evening till May 5, we will hold a public meeting to educate people not to fall into traps set by such groups who have their own interests,” said Rajesh, who is also a CPI-M legislator from Kannur district.
