Indian delegation to leave for world wrestling body meet

New Delhi, May 16 (IANS) Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh and WFI advisor G.S. Mander will leave for Moscow Friday to attend world wrestling body FILA’s extraOrdinary meeting on Saturday.

The delegation will discuss the reintegration of wrestling in the 2020 Olympic Games programme. They will also discuss ammendments to be brought in to the FILA Constitution and wrestling rules.

The election of the FILA president with a mandate until the 2014 Congress will also be discussed, a WFI release said.
