Hot Thursday in Delhi

New Delhi, May 9 (IANS) It was a hot and sunny morning in the national capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 26.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above average. The Met Office has forecast a hot day.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the day will be clear and hot. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 42 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 38 percent.

Wednesday’s maximum temperature was 42 degrees Celsius, three degrees above average, while the minimum was 23.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below average.
