New Delhi, May 13 (IANS) It was a hot day for Delhi Monday, even as the maximum temperature settled two notches below average at 37.6 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. There will be no respite Tuesday.
The slight drop in temperature was attributed to traces of rainfall recorded on Sunday evening.
Monday, however, saw clear skies while the minimum temperature was also two notches below average at 23.2 degrees Celsius.
A clear day has been forecast for Tuesday with maximum and minimum temperature expected to be around 39 and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
