Rio de Janeiro, May 27 (IANS) AC Milan are reportedly preparing an offer to re-sign Corinthians and Brazil international striker Alexandre Pato.
Pato has struggled for opportunities under Corinthians coach Tite since his 15 million euro move from the San Siro in January, reports Xinhua.
But the 23-year-old is again on the Rossoneri’s radar due to Giampaolo Pazzini’s serious knee injury and the end of Bojan Krkic’s loan spell from Roma.
It is understood Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani will meet with Pato this week to discuss the prospect of returning to the Italian club during the European summer transfer window.
Pato was overlooked by Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari for next month’s FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil.
