New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) It was a warm Wednesday in the capital with the maximum temperature at 32.3 degrees Celsius, one notch below the average, the Met office said. Similar conditions are likely to prevail Thursday.
While the minimum temperature settled at 18.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season, the humidity wavered between a high and low of 86 and 31 percent, respectively.
Earlier Wednesday, the capital woke up to a cloudy morning which gave way to clear and sunny sky as the day progressed.
Tuesday’s maximum temperature was three notches above average at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was a notch below average at 17.8 degrees Celsius.
There will be mist Thursday morning but the sky will be clear later in the day, said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Thursday’s maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 32 and 17 degrees Celsius, respectively.
