Son Nitesh arrested for Deepak Bhardwaj’s murder

New Delhi, April 9 (IANS) Realtor Nitesh Bhardwaj has been arrested for the murder of his billionaire father Deepak Bhardwaj last month, police said Tuesday.

Nitesh’s aide Baljeet, an advocate, was also arrested for the March 26 murder of the real estate tycoon and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader.

“We had detained Nitesh Sunday for questioning and arrested him Tuesday,” a police officer said.

With this, six people have been arrested in this case.

Bhardwaj, was gunned down by two hired killers Sunil Mann alias Sonu and Purushottam Rana alias Monu, at his 35-acre farmhouse in south Delhi. Both have been arrested.

Rakesh alias Bhola, the owner of the car used by the killers after the murder, and Rakesh Malik, a commercial pilot who allegedly hired the shooters have also been nabbed.
