New Delhi, April 5 (IANS) An injured Virender Sehwag will also miss Delhi Daredevils’ Saturday tie against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Unlike in Kolkata, Sehwag, who is suffering from a back spasm, did turn up for the practice session here at the Ferozeshah Kotla but only for a physiotherapy session.
David Warner said Sehwag would miss Saturday’s game.
“He will not be available for tomorrow’s game. Sehwag had a session with the physio and he is getting better everyday,” he said.
Sehwag’s absence in Kolkata for the IPL opener against the Knight Riders set off rumours that he was upset after not being considered for Daredevils’ captaincy. But later Sehwag, who has been dropped from the national team, said that he was suffering from a back spasm.
