New Delhi, April 15 (IANS) The Delhi government Monday cancelled the permit of the bus in which a 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by its driver, a minister said.

“We have cancelled the permit of the bus which belonged to Rao Transport in the capital,” Delhi Transport Minister Ramakant Goswami told IANS.

The 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 47-year-old driver on a private bus parked near her house here in the capital, police said Sunday.

“We have done our bit. Now the police have to play their role in the case,” Goswami said.

She was playing near her house Saturday night when Kaushal lured her to the bus and assaulted her.
