Chennai, April 3 (IANS) One of the songs in upcoming Tamil romantic-drama “Woo” will be shot in as many international locales as never heard before. Since it’s a soothing romantic duet, the makers are likely to film it in European countries like Switzerland and Norway.
“It’s one of the soothing romantic tracks of the soundtrack. We recently finished recording the song and when my producer heard it, he felt that it should be shot in picturesque international locations. We have narrowed down on places such as Switzerland, Norway and few other places in Europe to shoot the song,” director Jayaprakash told IANS.
“We are yet to zero in on where we would exactly can the song, but we will be filming in multiple international locations. We will begin filming soon,” he added.
Shreya Ghosal and Satish Chakravarthy have crooned the song, which will feature the lead pair – Richard and Vidya.
Produced by S.S. Vasan, “Woo” is nearing completion. The unit is currently busy filming the last schedule here on a set erected at the cost of Rs.75 lakhs.
“We needed the set to shoot an important portion of the film. We spent about Rs.75 lakhs because we wanted to save time on travelling to other locations. Thanks to the set, the number of shooting days was reduced to 11 from 14,” said a statement from the production house.
The film also features M.S. Bhaskar, Vasu, and Aishwarya among others. Satish Chkravarthy has composed the music, while cinematography is by Rasamadhi.
