Monte Carlo Masters results

Monte Carlo, April 17 (IANS) Belgian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov caused an upset at the Monte Carlo Masters here by beating eighth seeded Serbian Janko Tipsarevic in straight sets.

Dimitrov won 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 to proceed to the next round of the ATP Tour’s first 1000-point clay court tournament of the season.
