Los Angeles, April 7 (IANS) Actress Evan Rachel Wood, who is expecting her first child with husband Jamie Bell, finds meditation vital to give her a sense of calm and control the anxiety that goes with her hectic life and career.
“I began meditating when I was 12. In my industry, it is easy to get caught up in the anxiety of it all, so I take time to sit and breathe by the ocean, there’s something so calming about that, it puts everything into perspective,” contactmusic.com quoted Wood as saying.
“I started doing yoga too, I totally get why everyone’s in love with it now. It’s pretty great,” added the 25-year-old.
She also finds dancing a great way to relax and clear her head.
“Dancing is the most fun workout. It’s another way for me to clear my head. I am not thinking about anything else, just getting out some energy,” she said.
