Gurgaon, April 5 (IANS) A 45-year-old businessman, who was arrested for allegedly raping his minor daughter for over three years, was sent to judicial custody here Friday, police said.
Anil Kumar was arrested Thursday for sexually assaulting her 16-year-old daughter after a case was registered against him at the Sushant Lok police station.
The accused was produced before the court of Judicial Magistrate Sukhpreet Singh, who sent him to judicial custody of 14 days, investigation officer Prem Chand said.
The victim alleged that her father took her out of town to various places and repeatedly raped her. She told about her ordeal to a school teacher after which the case was registered with the police. The accused has two sons and a daughter.
