Libya, UAE hold talks

Tripoli, April 11 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Libya have held discussions over existing bilateral cooperation in oil and gas fields and ways to boost them.

The talks were held between Abdel Bari Ali Al-Arousi, Libyan minister for Oil and Gas and UAE Ambassador to Libya Saeed Obaid al-Kaabi.

Al-Kaabi affirmed UAE’s continuous keenness to boost relations with Libya through exchange of expertise and partnerships to serve interests of the two sisterly countries.

The Libyan minister hailed the UAE’s stance towards Libyans during and after the country’s Feb 17 revolution, and lauded the distinguished relations between the two countries.
