Chasing 181, Hyderabad ended at 132 for seven in 20 overs. Cameron White (37) and Thisara Perera (36) scored for the visitors.
Gautam Gambhir (53), Jacques Kallis (41) and Eoin Morgan (47) were the main contributors in Kolkata’s 180 for four.
