Hussain credits wife for growth, emotional support

Mumbai, April 14 (IANS) TV actor Hussain Kuwajerwala, who has come a long way as an actor, gives credit to his wife Tina for his growth in showbiz.

“My wife has contributed a lot in my career. We were dating when I was nothing and since then she has been supportive. She is very strong and is my emotional support,” Hussain, who has been part of the industry for over a decade, told IANS.

“She even designs my clothes and sees to it that I look good whenever I step out of my house,” added the actor who featured in popular TV serials “Kumkum”, “Kyunkii Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” and “Rishtey”, among others.

He also hosted reality shows like “Indian Idol”, “Dance Premier League” and even participated in dance reality show “Nach Baliye 2”.

Later, he wowed with his dancing skills in Bollywood musical “Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince” at the Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.

Now, he is looking forward to his big screen debut with “Shree”. Directed by Rajesh Bachchani, the film, also starring Anjali Patil, is slated for an April 26 release.

The 35-year-old didn’t have to struggle a lot, but his journey wasn’t that easy either.

“I would say I have not really struggled as such but there was a lot of hard work. It was not easy to get a break in TV. To work for 14 to 16 hours is not easy. The journey wasn’t easy so far,” he said.
