London, April 5 (IANS) A student in Britain has been spared a jail term after he admitted having posted naked photos of a woman on Facebook by hacking into her e-mails.
William Wooles, 20, targeted his victim after discovering intimate pictures she had sent to an ex-boyfriend, The Sun reported.
Wooles, who was studying in Leeds, e-mailed her to inform that he had found “interesting” things and wanted to see even more explicit photos. He then put the photos of the woman, a student in Manchester he did not know, on Facebook.
He admitted to four blackmail and computer misuse offences.
Wooles, of Essex, was given suspended prison sentences totalling two years at Manchester Crown Court.
