New Delhi, April 14 (IANS) A 10-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a 47-year-old driver in a private bus parked near her house here in the capital, police said Sunday. The attacker has been arrested.
“Rakesh Kaushal, a bus driver, was arrested Sunday morning from his house in Sultanpuri area in north Delhi after the victim told her parents about the sexual assault,” said a police officer.
She was playing near her house Saturday night when Kaushal lured her to the bus and assaulted her.
The victim’s medical examination has confirmed sexual assault, police said.
