Choreography my first love: Prabhudheva

New Delhi, April 11 (IANS) He acts and directs, but Prabhudheva says choreography is what he enjoys the most.

“I have been into acting and direction, but choreography is my first love,” Prabhudheva said Wednesday at the launch of 24th edition of Limca Book of Records.

He added: “I’m glad that nowadays people are aware of varied dance genres, thanks to reality TV dance shows.”

Prabhudheva, known for directing hits like “Wanted” and “Rowdy Rathore” in Bollywood, was last seen as an actor in Remo D’Souza’s directorial venture “ABCD – Anybody Can Dance”, a dance-based 3D movie.

Talking about the film, he said it is “good that dance-based movies are being made in the industry”.

He has also acted in southern films like “Suyamvaram” and “Kaadhalan”.

After having worked in both Bollywood and southern films, he feels there is no major difference between the two filmmaking industries.

“I would like to work with everyone in Bollywood. I have been in talks with Salman Khan for a film. Also, I enjoy working with Akshay Kumar. I have done a commercial with him (Akshay) recently. They all are fun to work with.”

Prabhu is nowadays busy with “Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya” and “Rambo Rajkumar”.

“I’m directing both the films. ‘Rambo Rajkumar’ stars Shahid Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. I’ll choreograph Shahid too. It will release later this year. ‘Ramaiya Vasta Vaiya’ is ready to release June 21.”
