Chennai, April 3 (IANS) The 18th European Union Film Festival (EUFF) will aim to narrate engaging stories and offer an insight into remarkable women’s live through 24 films to be screened here April 5-14.
Some of the films to be screened as part of festival include “Fast Girls”, “Installation of Love”, “The Dark House”, “My Name Is Ki” and “Water Lillies”.
“The selection of 24 films, each from a different European Union member state, manifests the European unity through diversity through the central theme of ‘women’,” said a statement.
The film festival, which kick started March 8 in Coimbatore, will travel to 10 other Indian cities such as Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Jodhpur.
The EUFF is organised by the European Union delegation to Indian and the Embassies of European Union member states, in collaboration with a galaxy of film societies of India.
