BJP workers protest over water in Delhi

New Delhi, April 25 (IANS) Over 1,000 Delhi BJP workers Thursday staged a demonstration in front of Congress legislator Arvinder Singh Lovely’s office over water problems in his constituency Deoli in south Delhi.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Jolly, who spearheaded the demonstration accused Lovely of not making any efforts with regard to making potable water available to people in the area.

“Water mafias have seized the water tube wells the area. Nothing has been done in terms of water. This Congress led government is sure to go,” Jolly said addressing the party workers.
