Srinagar: Twenty one school children were injured in a road accident in north Kashmir Saturday, police said. All of them are out of danger.
A senior police officer said the bus of an army goodwill school met an accident near Trehgam town in Kupawara district in the afternoon.
“Twenty-one students were injured in the accident. All of them have been removed to hospital for treatment. Doctors have described the conditions of all of them as stable,” the police officer said.
Earlier this week, nine school children were killed and eight others injured when a school bus went out of the driver’s control and rolled down a deep gorge in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
