Woman dies in road accident

Shimla: A woman died of accident related injuries in hospital on Monday morning, while three others, which included her husband and daughter had been admitted for emergency treatment, police officials stated.

Police inspector Sangat Ram Negi disclosed that the vehicle (DL8C – 3562) was coming to Rampur from Lauga village in Kotgarh, when drive Lokinder lost control near Bhadrash and the vehicle fell into a deep ditch.

All the four travelling in the car were rescued and brought to hospital but Yashoda, (23), wife of Satish Jisthu (33) did not survive. After conducting a postmortem, the body has been handed over to the relatives of the deceased, said Negi.

The other survivor in the accident is the one year old Sehzal, daughter of Satish and Yashoda, said the police spokesman. The three accident survivors are under treatment, he added.
