Manali hotel owners press for restoring air services to Kullu

 Manali: Hit by no air services to any of the airports of Himachal Pradesh ever since Kingfisher Airlines was grounded, hotel owners of Manali met chief minister Virbhadra Singh at Dharamshala recently and impressed upon for restoring flights to Bhuntar airport in Kullu at the earliest.

A delegation led by Anup Ram Thakur, president Manali Hotels Association, drew the chief ministers attention to the bad road conditions in Kullu-Manali valley and put forth the demand for construction of a bye-pass road, need for an extra bridge across the Beas River and shortage of parking space in the popular tourist township.

Thakur was accompanied by other members of the association which included Sushil Thakur, Gagan Thakur, Mohan Singh, Jit Ram Sood and Jaya Thakur.

    Mall Road also offers many opportunities for shopping. Local dishes are also lip-smack. Manali hotels are nice and hospitable. So, head to this mountain resort and create unforgettable memories!
