Indian cricket team holds practice session at Dharamshala ground

India team at Dharamshala

Dharamshala: Under the shadow of the snow draped mighty Dhauladhar mountain ranges, the Indian cricket team found time to play afternoon football at the scenic HPCA cricket stadium.

It was a  sun soaked afternoon that had the players in high spirits in the Himalayan landscape.

The England team took time off and went visiting the Dalai Lama Temple at McLeodganj.

The Dalai Lama himself is scheduled to be the chief guest for the Sunday match at the ground.

Cricket lovers are making a beeline for Dharamshala and all hotels are booked, with some sold out a year before the event.

The administration is preparing parking and traffic regulation plans as the hill station has topographical constraints in managing more than what the roads can carry.

Meanwhile the authorities carried out a security check to ensure that the game did not suffer on that account.

Game of football to de-stress
