Dharamshala: With there being a nip in the morning air, the match referee in consultation with the teams board of England and India have decided to start play for the one day international match schedule here for Sunday at 9.30 a.m. against the earlier schedule of 9 a.m.
The decision was taken after inspection of the ground and weather conditions by both teams and the match referee, said an HP Cricket Association spokesperson.
With the sun shining bright for the day, match spectators and special guests have started arriving.
In the afternoon former captain of the Indian team Kapil Dev, arrived as a special guest of HPCA.
With the meteorological department recording the nights low temperature at 5.2 degree Celsius and yesterday high at 18.6 degree Celsius, the weatherman has forecast a bright day for Sunday, when the match is scheduled.
