London: India’s M.C. Mary Kom punched her way into the quarterfinals of women’s boxing in the 51kg category at the 2012 London Olympics here Sunday.
The five-time World Champion beat Polish Karolina Michalczuk 19-14 at the ExCel London. If she wins the next bout India will be assured of another bronze medal at least.
Women’s boxing is making its debut at the Olympics.
