India becomes U-19 World Champion, beat Australia by six wickets

India Winds U-19 World Cricket CupTownsville: India defeated defending champions Australia by six wickets to win their third Under-19 Cricket World Cup title here Sunday. Captain Unmukt Chand scored an unbeaten 111.

Chasing Australia’s 225, India got home in 47.4 overs. Smit Patel made a valuable 62 not out.

Australian captain William Bosisto top-scored for his team with 87.
