Shimla: The last session of the current assembly is to be held from August 27 and would hold four session, the state cabinet unanimously adopted a resolution to the effect today.
Presided over by chief minister PK Dhumal the cabinet decided to recommend to the Speaker convening of the monsoon session from August 27 to August 30, a cabinet spokesman stated.
The state is slated to hold general assembly elections in October – November and the monsoon session is to be the last session of the current house before a new house is constituted after conclusion of elections.
