Shimla : Despite the weatherman warning of heavy snow and rainfall during the past couple of days , only light to moderate snowfall took place in the higher reaches and rain and in the mid and lower hills of Himachal Pradesh until Sunday .
Only the tribal towns of Keylong and Kalpa received moderate snowfall Sunday .Fresh snowfall also took place in the higher reaches of Lahaul, Spiti , Kinnaur , Kullu , Chamba and Shimla among other places .
The resort towns of Shimla and Manali were lashed by rain .
