Shimla : Despite a sunny day it was windy and chilly day in Himachal Pradesh Wednesday with the weatherman saying it will snow in the mid and higher hills of the state from Friday .
A fresh western distrubance will affect Himachal and neighbouring states from Feb 3 to Feb 5 .
The maximum impact of the wet weather will be on Feb 4 when most of the places across the hill state are likely to receive snow , rain is likely in the foothills , the weather office said .
The state capital Shimla on Wednesday recorded a maximum of 12 C and a minimum of 1 C . Manali had a minimum of minus 3 C .
The tribal towns of Keylong and Kalpa the mercury plunged to minus 13.3 C and minus 5.6 C .
