1,200 Tabla, 300 Pakwaj players on one stage

New Delhi : A total of 1,200 Tabla and 300 Pakwaj players will perform together Tuesday on one stage at Solapur in Maharashtra, the Art of Living Foundation said Monday.

‘Taal Ninaad’, a masterful repertoire of Hindustan Classical music and percussionists, seeks to keep the tradition of Hindustani classical music alive, Art of Living said in a statement.

Renowned artists such as Pandit Arvindkumar Azad, Pandit Bhavani Shankar and Pandit Ronu Muzumdar will grace the occasion.
