New Delhi : Right wing hindu outfit VHP said today it will strongly oppose the entry of muslims and other minorities into the Lokpal .
“The Constitution does not allow religion-based reservations. To woo muslims and capture their vote bank through such an anti-constitutional move for various elections is strongly opposed by VHP as it will permanently hurt hindus ,†said Pravin Togadia, International Working President, VHP .
â€Muslim reservation’s backdoor entry in the name of Lokpal Bill is the dirtiest conspiracy to create precedence to further amend the constitution for religion-based reservations ,†Togadia said .
â€VHP appeals to all parties and the government
to immediately withdraw any such proposals either from failing which we will
take to streets democratically and peacefully,†he said .
