Shimla : The Himachal Pradesh government has included retired government employees for medical treatment at Gurgaon’s Medanta , a multi super specialty hospital , a spokesman of the hospital said today .
Treatment can already be availed by state employees and their dependants for cashless hospitalization after getting an authority letter from the state’s health department at current central govt health schemes rates(CGHS).
Medanta (Medicity) is one of India’s largest multi-super specialty institutes founded by Dr Naresh Trehan .
Spread across 43 acres, the institute includes a research centre, medical and nursing school. It has 1250 beds and over 350 critical care beds with 45 operation theatres catering to over 20 specialties.
“Medanta also plans to soon start super speciality OPDs and multi super speciality camps in several towns of Himachal ,†Sudhanshu Sharma , spokesman of the Medanta told the Hill Post .
