Mario de Miranda, the known cartoonist, died in his sleep at home in Goa today. He was 85.
Mario’s cartoon’s over the decades regularly featured in many news prominent new papers and magazines. Among them were Times of India, MAD and PUNCH.
In 2002 he was awarded the Padma Bhushan and in 1988 the Padma Shri.
