Shimla: Staff of Himachal Roadways (HRTC) resorted to a flash strike Saturday demanding security for drivers and conductors out on duty in various parts of the state.
The short strike was held at the main bus stand here in response to death of driver Suresh Kumar who after being beaten in Rohru on Tuesday, succumbed to his injuries at PGI Chandigarh on Friday.
Police claimed to have arrested Shurvir Singh and Dinesh for the fatal assault on the driver and were on the lookout for others.
