The state capital Shimla had a cold breezy day . Manail had a chilly night the minimum temperature dipping here to minus 1.6 C .
The tribal towns of Keylong and Kalpa recorded a minimum temperatures of minus 5. 1 C and minus Kalpa 2.5 C .
The weather man has forecast snow and rain at a few places in the next couple of days in the state due to western disturbance .
The neighbouring state of Jammu & Kashmir continued to reel under a severe cold wave . Srinagar recorded minus 3.4 C while in Leh it was a bone chilling minus 13 .
Air and rail traffic was disrupted in Delhi and other cities in the plains due to heavy fog .
The cold wave has killed 26 people , most of the deaths have taken place in Uttar Pradesh .
