Shimla : Nine people, including three women, were killed Wednesday in two road accidents in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district, police said.
All five occupants of a utility vehicle died instantly when their vehicle rolled down a 3,000 feet gorge near Kafnu on the Wangato-Kafnu road, about 220 km from here.
The vehicle was loaded with bags of fertilizer and the accident reportedly took place due to the driver’s negligence, a police official said.
Four people were killed when a private vehicle in which they were in fell into a gorge near Gramang village.
