Chandigarh : Comedian Jaspal Bhatti has been made the brand icon for the summary revision of electoral rolls for the upcoming Punjab assembly elections .
“Bhatti has been picked as the brand icon as he has been exposing corruption and dissecting social evils . He also enjoys mass appeal a clean image and is known to be politically neutral ,†said Kusumjit Sidhu , Punjab’s chief electoral officer .
Summary revision of electroral rolls will take place from October 4 to October 20 .
