Central bank hikes rates for 13th time

Mumbai : India’s central bank Tuesday hiked key rates by 25 basis points in the 13th such exercise since January 2010 to tame inflation, which has remained stubbornly high. As a result, loans, both individuals and commercial, will eventually become costlier.
