Japan backs Tibet cause

Dharamsala : A high level Japanese delegation on Friday expressed strong support for the Dalai Lama’s middle-way policy for resolving the issue of Tibet .

The delagation visited this northern Indian hill town which is the seat of the Tibetan government-in-exile . The seven member delegation comprised of two parliamentarians and other notable officials .

They met the Dalai Lama , Lhakpa Tshoko his representative and Tibetan prime minister Lobsang Sangay among other senior officials of the Tibetan government-in-exile .
